The Dued Amed Feature is possibly perhaps the simplistic yet significant feature capable of saving sometimes permanent loss of time for some travelers. The feature is capable of rendering windshield wipers useless, actually the windshield itself.
Description
In it’s simplest form It’s basically a miniature camera embedded into the front of the vehicle, and the feed is displayed in the center behind the steering with the speedometer. The dash-cam given the name dafeed gives a live feed of the traffic in front of the vehicle.
Counter-Intuitive
Although it seems counter-intuitive at first, as to why have the duplication when you can actually see through the windshield, the truth is sometimes you cannot see through the windshield or limited view due to a variety of reasons. The mechanical failure in the windshield wipers or combination of rain, snow, and dust in different parts of the globe could make viewing actually impossible and it’s at such times a secondary mechanism to view whats in front could potentially be life-saving.
Different Implementation
How this is different from the widely available dash-cams is that it’s trying to be an independent secondary means of viewing the front view without relying on the windshield. All the dash-cams are installed behind the windshield therefore dependent on the view via the windshield.
Additional cameras could be added to the front right and left as well for the Public Transportation Buses. This could aid them when crossing the train tracks.
