Driverless Cars are going to radically change the lifestyle just like internet have done in the first decade of 21st Century. I have complied a small list of what may be lifelike in a world dominated by Autonomous Vehicles

One Hour Times Million = Million Hours per Day.

Canada
According to published statistics 74.0% or 11.4 million workers drove a vehicle to work.
Now 11.4 million x  1 hour = 11.4 million of men hour per Day and that also during peak productive period in the morning would be a groundbreaking

United States
128.3 million Commuters out of which 75% drive alone which is 96 million People.
That is 96 million getting an additional hour doing whatever they want to eat, sleep, breakfast, exercise or read a book.

The work can be started from your doorstep regardless of how far you live.

Future Amusements

Road Signal: May become obsolete since all cars will have GPS and Cars don’t need big Road Signals, Only Signals required be that for Pedestrian Crossing.

Additional Parking Space: Cars can drive themselves back to home, downtown parking space will no longer required, rates could go down or they could transform them to electrical car stations.

Streetlights: Street Lamps replaced by communication antennas to transmit GPS data or surrounding information to the vehicles.

No Parking, No Problem: If no parking outside of a Burger Joint, A car can simply loop around the block until driver gets back, although a law may be passed limit the loops.

Dedicated Lanes: Trucks will have its own lane, Drivers will be replaced by the Security Guards.

Emergency: Cars can drive owner to Hospital, and provide all vital information to the Hospital.

Old School: People steering cars will become Annoyance, One Lane dedicated for Steerers and rest for steer less.

Prison: Cars can become Virtual Prison if robbers if trying to get away, on other hand cars may became a useful tool for other types of crime.
